Skaters are sending emails saying that they would love to get their entries, but, some didn’t know and some didn’t act quick enough.
So… Here is the deal. We are extending the Contest for a few more days, 15 days to be exact, but

Can you make that the theme and basis for a short video?  If you’ve got the stoke, we’ve got the place to post it and the prize to reward you with.  Silverfish Longboarding announces the Uncommon Boards Video Contest. It’s your chance to test your shooting and filming skills and to compete for a handmade Provoker deck custom made for you by the artisans at Uncommon boards, to custom specs for the rider who wins the contest. The deck will be built out with Surf Rodz RKP 176mm trucks and wheels worthy of being on the setup.

Basics of the contest.

Contest will last one and a half months from February 1st To March 15th

All entrants must be posted by March 15th in the Uncommon Boards Video Contest Thread to be eligible for a prize.
Videos can be hosted either on Youtube Or Vimeo
Winner of the contest will be announced on March 30th.

There will be 2 winners: The Grand Prize winner chosen by Uncommon will win a custom deck with Surf Rodz Trucks and the People’s Choice winner which will be chosen by a poll in the forums and will recieve a 50% discount on a board.  The decisions of the judges (and the people) are final, and by entering you give Uncommon, Surf Rodz and Silverfish license to use your video on our websites and/or print media.

Video Requirements

Videos must be 3 minutes or longer.
Video must be tasteful in order to win.
Video must use longboarding / skateboarding as a theme but does not need to be a skate video.
Video must include the words “Uncommon Boards”
